The rules of the games: Card Games: Black Jack:
  • The purpose of the game

Blackjack is a card game in which the player plays against the dealer. In order to win the player needs to collect more points than the dealer, but not more than 21.

Six-deck blackjack has six 52-card decks (from twos to Ace in each suit). Before starting the game the dealer shuffles all the cards creating a deck of 312 cards.

  • Values of the cards

    • The cards from 2 to 10 are valued as indicated.
    • Jack, Queen, and King are all valued as 10.
    • An Ace has a value either of 1 or 11. The player who has got the Ace is denied with the benefits as the value of this card can be changed from 11 to 1 and vice versa depending on the total sum of the spots. A combination with the Ace as 11 is called "soft". "Soft 17" is the Ace plus a six. A combination with the Ace as 1 is called "hard". "Hard 17" is the Ace, a six and a ten.

  • Bets

The player has to make a bet at least in one box to start the game. The player can buy up to three boxes with bets from 1 to 300 per each.

In order to choose the required boxes you have to click on these boxes holding “Shift”.

In order to make a bet you need to click on a corresponding chip. You need to click on the field which contains your bet in order to clear the bet. You can clear all bets by pressing "Reset". You can rebet by pressing "Rebet".

  • Start of the Game

In order to start a game a player has to make bets and press "Deal". The dealer draws by two cards for each purchased box and leaves two cards for himself. All cards are dealt faced-up except the dealer’s second card which is dealt face-down. A two-card combination that counts 21 is called Blackjack. Blackjack is possible only when cards are dealt for the first time.

  • Insurance and the Dealer’s BlackJack

After the cards are dealt the dealer checks his first card. If it occurs to be an Ace, then the player can insure his bets against the dealer’s blackjack.
Insurance is a bet that the dealer will have Blackjack. Each purchased box can be insured. Insurance costs half the bet per box. After the player has decided whether to insure his boxes, the dealer checks his second card (but doesn’t expose it).
If the dealer’s first card is valued as 10 then he checks his second card but the player can’t take insurance in this case.
If the dealer has got Blackjack he exposes his second card, declares the result and pays all insurances 2 to 1. After that the dealer checks the player’s combinations. If the player has Blackjack he receives back his bet for this box. Other bets of the player lose. The game is over.
If the dealer does not have Blackjack, then he announces the result without exposing the second card. All insurance bets lose and go to the casino.

  • The Player’s Blackjack

After the dealer has checked his cards and has ascertained that he hadn’t got Blackjack he pays all blackjacks of the player because the value of the dealer’s score does not matter any more, he will not be able to beat the player’s blackjack. The player’s boxes with blackjack are paid 3 to 2.
Once all blackjacks of the player are paid, the game moves to the first box and the player decides what to do next.

  • "Fail"

The player may choose to surrender if his combination seems to be disadvantageous. The box loses at the cost of half of the original bet. The player can surrender if no actions have been taken with this box. The player cannot surrender if the dealer´s first card is an Ace.

  • "Double"

The player can double his bet if his combination looks advantageous. One additional card will be dealt to a player ( only one) and the additional money will be withdrawn from the player’s account. Then the game moves to the next box.
The player can double his bet if he has two cards on the hand.

  • "Split"

If the player has got two cards of equal value he may split these ones to form up to two separate hands (for example, two fives or a Jack with a Queen). The new hand gets an additional bet that equals the initial bet in this box. The split hands are played and paid as regular boxes with regard to certain restrictions. The player can’t surrender on split hands.

    • You can split again if you have got at least 2 hands in the box.
    • A two-card combination which is valued as 21 is not considered a Blackjack on a split hand.

After splitting each hand has only one card. The second card is dealt automatically upon leading to a split hand. If the hand is 21 the move goes to the next hand. If the hand does not exceed 21 then the player decides what to do next ("Stand", "Deal", "Double").

  • "Stand"

If the player is satisfied with his current combination or he’s afraid of going bust, then he can stop at the current total and refrain from drawing another card to the hand. Hereby the combination is set for the comparison with the dealer’s combination, the game moves to the next hand.

  • "Deal"

If the player thinks that he needs more points in order to win, he can draw another card by pressing “Deal”. The dealer will deal him one more card to the current hand. The player can repeat this action as long as the hand does not exceed 21. The player can repeat this situation until he has 21 on the current hand. But you should always remember about going bust.

  • Excess

When the player draws an additional card by going over 21, then the current hand loses and the wager goes to the casino. The game moves to the next hand.
After all the boxes of the player are processed, the tern goes to a dealer.

  • The rules for a dealer

The dealer’s rules are simple. They don’t depend on the player’s combinations. The dealer has to continue to take cards until his total is 17 points and has to stop as soon as he gets 17 or more points or greater except when there are no more players’ bets left over the table (they are either lost or paid). The game is over.

  • Comparison of Combinations

After the dealer has stopped, the player’s hand is compared with the dealer’s one.
    • If the dealer busts, all remaining bets win and are paid 1 to 1.
    • If the player’s total is higher than the dealer’s total, the current bet wins and is paid
    1 to 1.
    • If both the player and the dealer have the same sum of the points on their hands, then there is equality and the player is given back his bet.
    • If the dealer’s total is greater, you lose. The bet goes to the casino.
After all bets are paid, the dealer will shuffle the cards and the player can start a new game.

  • Payout Table

    Winning hand 1 to 1
    Insurance 2 to 1
    Blackjack 3 to 2
